Dual covers to Suppermon Sugar & Spice, a comic I did in 2006-ish. It is pokemon except with food. The interiors were done with real old-fashioned zip tone, the kind you cut out with an exacto-knife.
This is the airship captain in Wendepunkt. I never settled on a design for anyone. He might have a canon gun. His body is covered in one big map tattoo, so I struggle with how thin or fat (round like a globe!) to make him. The windblade guy has a prophetic compass tattoo on his hand that reacts to the map tattoo, so they are forced to touch each other whenever they get lost!
His airship crew also has big viking woman with braids in a pretzel shape, and a ship doctor with a pain fetish who hopes their adventures cause him a lot of bodily harm.
A while ago I was going to do a comic called Wendepunkt (wind punk) as a parody of the steampunk genre. Everything was very Dutch and powered by windmills.
Wendepunkt is about this guy who has a windblade that does air slice attacks. He can fan air with it into windmills and pinwheels and propellers to start or stop them. I guess the story is the villains are discovering coal power and bringing about the industrial revolution and the windblade guy is trying to stop it with some airship pirates.
Urban Buzz 0 page with text. I would do these colors completely different now! I think I was trying to make them washed out and artificial.
